Einig Product Innovation and Creation, EPIC by Rob, stands for holistic product development with the creative and pragmatic approach from me, Rob Einig. Since 2024 I am working as freelance design engineer to guide and support your product development from a blank sheet of paper all the way to the industrialisation.

Creating a product means more than just creating a nice shape which fulfils its functional requirements. During the development process the product "grows" to fit to a lot of other requirements in its environment.

My strengths lie primarily in the concept phase of product development, in bringing together different areas of expertise, and in anticipating the path to industrialization, from prototypes and small series all the way to large scale production. Of course, including topics such as Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, and Design to Cost. But my focus goes even further in understanding the impact on the entire organization, including Marketing, Operations, Service, and beyond.

In addition to my technical expertise, I bring a high level of creativity, strong spatial reasoning skills and over 20 years of CAD experience.
